The UPS system maximizes equipment performance, life, and reliability through protecting connected loads from surges, spikes, lightning, and other power disturbances. It features Boost and Trim Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) that gives higher application availability by correcting low and high voltage conditions without using the battery. Network manageability of this UPS provides a remote management of the UPS all over the network. Additionally the USB and serial connectivity provides management of the UPS via their respective port. Moreover, the User-replaceable batteries help to increases availability by allowing a trained user to perform upgrades and replacements of the batteries reducing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). With all these and more features, the Smart-UPS XL UPS system provides the ability to adapt the UPS for optimal performance in specific power environments or generator applications.
