The standalone Dell™ Multi-Protocol Card is designed to add compatibility with network printing protocols such as UDP/IP (IPP, SMB, NetWare® - versions later than NetWare 5 - HTTPS, WINS, SMTP, DDNS, mDNS); NetBEUI (SMB); NetWare P-server; Ethertalk; AppleTalk.
The Dell Multi-Protocol Card also offers support for wireless networking when used in conjunction with the bundled Dell Wireless Printer Adapter 3310 USB.
